Coralogix has expanded the federal market for its government monitoring service, announcing Sept. 9 that U.S. GovOps received FedRAMP Class C, or Moderate, certification.
The company said Federal Student Aid, part of the Education Department, already runs workloads on the service under an authorization to operate.
GovOps handles telemetry, the operational data systems generate about their activity. Coralogix says its architecture processes that information as it arrives and supports queries against data in object storage without first building an index.
The distinction matters to the company’s approach to monitoring and historical investigations: It aims to reduce the preparation required before analysts can use stored information.
The certification covers the U.S. GovOps environment specifically. Coralogix said it does not automatically extend to the company’s commercial platform.
A hypothetical agency evaluating the service could test a problem that crosses several applications. A resident might reach an online form successfully but encounter a failure when the system attempts to verify an account. An investigator would need to follow the transaction across those steps rather than examine each application’s records in isolation.
The evaluation could compare how long an analyst takes to locate that failure in recent data and in older records. It could also test whether the analyst can retrieve enough detail without exposing unrelated personal information.
That would produce a more useful assessment than a demonstration using a small, clean sample. An agency could introduce inconsistent timestamps, incomplete records and a sudden increase in traffic to see where investigation becomes difficult.
Cost would need the same attention. A procurement team could ask for a workload estimate that includes storage, queries and data movement, using its own expected volumes.
The certification gives agencies a new option to examine. The buying decision still turns on whether the service makes their operational evidence accessible at a sustainable cost.
