Parsons said nine of its products and service approaches have been designated “Awardable” in two Department of War digital marketplaces, a status the company says makes them easier for defense organizations to identify, evaluate and acquire. The designations cover satellite operations, counter-drone command and control, positioning, data engineering, help-desk automation and electronic-warfare testing.
Six of the offerings are listed in the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, while three are in the Platform One Solutions Marketplace. The release frames both venues as acquisition pathways for commercial technology: Tradewinds is intended to accelerate procurement and adoption, and the Air Force-sponsored Platform One marketplace helps organizations discover and evaluate software capabilities that have completed a competitive process.
For government buyers, the relevant change is the marketplace status rather than a new product launch. A designation does not by itself award Parsons a contract or establish that a solution will meet every mission need. It can, however, reduce some of the early market-research and evaluation work that a program office faces when looking for a technology already positioned for a particular acquisition route.
The Tradewinds group contains the widest range of operational capabilities. Ground Operations Command as a Service is a cloud-native satellite-operations platform for commanding, telemetry analysis, orbit determination, maneuver planning and constellation management, Parsons said. OrbitXchange is an automated, cloud-native satellite-communications service that uses commercial antenna networks for ground-station access. The company also listed its SPARTAN Antenna, which it says can simultaneously support commanding, telemetry and mission-data collection for as many as eight spacecraft through electronically steerable beams.
The same marketplace includes DroneArmor, a counter-unmanned-aircraft command-and-control platform that integrates sensors, effectors and AI-enabled software for threat detection, tracking and response. It also includes C2Core Air for distributed air-operations planning and monitoring, and an Assured Positioning System intended to provide positioning, navigation and timing information when GPS or other navigation satellite signals are jammed, spoofed or unreliable. Parsons said APS uses non-GPS radio-frequency transmissions from commercial and noncommercial communications satellites.
On Platform One, the three Awardable offerings are a modern extract, transform and load development approach called METAL; Support Velocity, an IT service-management offering that uses AI and machine learning to categorize help-desk tickets; and TReX, a signal and channel emulation system for electronic-warfare testing, evaluation and training. Parsons said METAL uses containerization, microservices and Kubernetes to support complex data workloads and integration across diverse data sources.
A defense organization could potentially use the marketplace listing to begin evaluating a satellite-operations service or a cyber-resilient positioning capability sooner than it could through an entirely new market survey. That remains a hypothetical procurement use case. Actual adoption would require a buyer to assess security requirements, interoperability, data handling, total cost and the applicable contracting authority.
The nine designations show how a single contractor is positioning a portfolio across operational technology and enterprise IT workflows, from physical drone threats to service-desk administration. The announcement does not disclose pricing, customer selections or deployment timetables. For agency technology leaders, the immediate value is a more structured starting point for evaluating these specific tools—not evidence that the products have already been chosen for a mission.
